The 170L includes both a universal shaking platform and a full-size static shelf. This makes it possible to incubate suspension cultures while maintaining plates or static vessels at the same temperature and, in CO2 models, under the same gas and humidity conditions. Related experiments can be started at the same time and maintained together, without transferring samples between instruments during a run.
Space efficiency is an understandable concern in most labs. The AEOLUS™ 170L is a floor-standing unit that can be stacked up to two units high, allowing labs to increase incubation capacity vertically while keeping a smaller footprint.
The system is available in CO2 and NON-CO2 configurations to support both cell culture and microbial workflows. CO2 models provide control of temperature, CO2 concentration, and humidity, while NON-CO2 models support temperature-controlled shaking where gas control is not required.
