Why are Crystal Multi-Position Magnetic Stirrers able to be submerged in a Water Bath?

The following models MS-04BSUA, MS-06BSUA and MS-15BSUA each have a sealed stainless-steel platform that prevents water intrusion and are waterproof protection rated to IP68.  The remote control is rated IP21 and must be used outside the water bath.
